Dearest Clara
Yesterday was a very exciting day! You got to meet your Aunt Jojo! She immediately fell in love with you. After a long drive from Georgia where she attends graduate school, she visited you as the first thing on her agenda. She held you while you fussed. Finally you went to sleep and we went to Krispy Kreme where we ate doughnuts. You also got to meet Mr. Barry, her dad. The day before yesterday, you and me spent the day together while your daddy was at work. When we came home, he got to spend quality time with you. Every day we fall deeper in love with you and it becomes more real to us that you are ours and we are yours. It is so hard to believe that this time last year we were smitten and excited to be in a relationship. Now we have you, Clara Jane, our beautiful daughter!
