Jordan (and Baby Jenna)
It feels like just yesterday you were so tiny. But all in the same breath I vaguely remember those days. I hardly remember you ever being so tiny and squishy. Now, you are keeping up with Jordan who is almost two. You aren't eating the sand at the park, you are playing with it with the sand toys. You are saying soo many words. The pediatrician said you are advanced for your age verbally. You are attempting to say words that have more than two syllables (hippopotamus, vagina, etc). Those words sound more like Nana.. and paamaa but you are really trying. You enjoy coloring and writing, playing with your blocks, and reading books. You love to dance, especially to the choreography to Barney songs and nursery rhymes. You also enjoy trying to climb the steps by yourself, kicking the ball, throwing the ball, and riding your toys. I love that you finally have started to enjoy giving hugs and kisses. You also really love your daddy. You love Star Trek and the theme song to Law and Order. You also love animals. You love to know their names and the sounds that they make as well as counting. I say one, you say two, I say three, and you say six. :-) You also love to "kick kick kick" in swim class as well as blow bubbles. I know that you will be ready for pre-pike (intro to swimming) once you turn two! :-)
I am so proud of you and how far you have come,
Momma |
